Lower Gwynedd cop accidentally fires gun when responding to disturbance

LOWER GWYNEDD - A Lower Gwynedd police officer accidentally fired his gun while officers responded to a disturbance in which a man pointed his gun at officers during the early morning hours of Dec. 20.The incident began when Lower Gwynedd police were dispatched to a report of a reckless driver traveling north on Bethlehem Pike, according to a press release from the Lower Gwynedd Police Department.
